Classes at the Pleasanton branch of Aikido Shugenkai are taught by Tom Hapiuk. He has studied Aikido since 1991 and currently holds a Menkyo Chuden teaching license. For more information please contact us at (510) 274-1297.

To Take Part in Class....Show up at least 15 minutes before the start of class. Please wear dogi or sweat pants and long sleeve shirt or other attire that will protect knees and elbows.

Class Times:     Adults - Tuesday 8:00-9:00PM, Friday 7:00-8:00 PM & Saturday 12:00-1:00 PM
  Children - Saturday 11:00-12:00 PM

Aikido is a Japanese Budo (or Martial Way) developed around the middle of the 20th century by Morihei Ueshiba based on his many years and training in the classical Martial Arts and defined by his ethical and philosophical beliefs. Aikido is an art based on the fundamental concepts of harmony or blending, inner power, and the purpose of developing the practitioner.
